According to the Quang Nam Tourism Promotion Center, the Hoi An basket boat ride has been named one of the world's top 25 most popular boat experiences.
This ranking was announced by Tripadvisor, the world's leading travel review platform, as part of its annual Travelers' Choice Best of the Best awards.
Accordingly, the basket boat experience in Cam Thanh coconut forest, Hoi An City, ranked 19th among the top 25 most fascinating boat experiences for global travelers in 2024.
Taking part in this activity, visitors can sit in a basket boat and enjoy the fresh air of a peaceful countryside, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Boat rowers will take you drifting along the water, weaving through cool, green rows of coconut trees while sharing stories about the local history. Along the way, tourists are guided on how to make lovely souvenirs from coconut leaves, watch basket boat spinning and racing performances, try their hand at casting fishing nets, and listen to traditional Quang Nam folk songs.
